The sleighs picked you up from your car and took you up to the logging camp to enjoy the festivities. We didn't actually ride in this one-horse-open sleigh. We rode in a sleigh that was used to pick up kids for school and had a woodstove heater and everything!
There was red plaid everywhere. I particularly liked that the flapjacks were being cooked up by plaid wearing gentlemen.
How could we go to logging days and not use a saw?
Of course we had to take a picture with the miniature Paul and Babe.
We had such a fun time and the weather couldn't have cooperated more. It was sunny, no wind and in the mid-twenties. An all-around perfect day for a family event!

Zoe saw this and remembered getting the postcard you guys sent when you saw Paul Bunyan before! Looks like fun.
